Ella Fitzgerald (April 25, 1917 – June 15, 1996)
Was the first Black woman to perform during half-time at a super bowl. Fitzgerald was the recipient of 14 Grammy’s, the National Medal of Arts, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
