What the Trump?

I wish that there were different results or that we could somehow go back in time and fix all that has been broken.

We cannot.  With that said and understood we must continue to move forward. If we have not been paying attention, then we have to start paying attention.

What happened?  The worst!  I thought that Clinton had it. That is until the FBI came out with the week before the election stating that the investigation into her emails was being reopened.  Isn’t is funny that just as quickly as it came out it went away?  Do you think that was coincidence?  Remember J. Edgar Hoover?  Comey, Hoover, all the same if you ask me.

Hillary Clinton can point fingers if she wants to, but the reality is that she didn’t do what she was supposed to do when she was supposed to do it.

We have a system that is setup to do what it wants when it wants.  The system is not for the everyday voter and that is why we often hear people say that their vote doesn’t matter.  However, we just saw when and why it does.  Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, but lost the Presidency for this very reason.  The same thing happened to Al Gore in 2000, even though we know that George H.W. Bush and his republican friends cheated with the Florida votes.  Five times now this has happened and we still don’t get it.  We could have avoided this by ignoring the Green ticket and making sure that we all voted.

I have talked to several people over the last week who have stated that they didn’t vote and this is why.  WHAT?!  So, every time someone didn’t vote, it was a vote for Trump.  How many times do we have to hear this to understand it?

It is great to be registered to vote, but if you don’t understand what it really means to vote or how your vote counts then it is like having a loaded gun and not knowing how to use it.  Yes, you are that powerful.

I’m not going to go sit in a corner and cry or leave the Country or any of that.  Hell no.  That would make this too easy for those who want that very thing.  Would you build a mansion and then just walk away from it? Would you write a best seller and give someone else the credit?  Heck no.  We are not going anywhere.

This is our real time to show what it is we are made of and be who and what we proclaim to be.  If we are going to run for the hills at the first sign of trouble, then we might as well not fight.  This is not the first time that we will have had a President like this.  What we have to our advantage is the fact that we know what it looks like from the beginning. In the past we only got wind of it after the fact.  Sun Tzu says in The Art of War, “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.”

Let’s not go backwards.  Let’s not be afraid and most of all, let’s not be foolish in our thoughts or our actions.  We are done saying that we do not understand when we clearly do.  We are done saying we can’t when we clearly can.  We are done bowing down when we are very capable of standing upright and walking like men and women.

When people show you who they are you better believe them because denying it or trying to change them is foolish.
