Book Of The Week

One Night by Eric Jerome Dickey

It’s my birthday week, so I needed to have an EJD on hand. I have read this book twice. I love it.

One night of passion, lies, and truth. If we could only forget where we came from and allow ourselves just to be where we are, for Jackie, that would mean forgetting about all that she has lost.  We forget that the rest of the world can see us when we are lost in the translation of our own lives. When we think that we are overly complicated, we realize, maybe too late, that a well-dressed stranger might be able to see us coming from a mile away. Sometimes it only takes one chance meeting, one last heartbreak, One Night.
