We meet again. Yes, it is an EJD selection. I had to do it. This is my all time favorite book, hands down! Her friends call her Freckles, her lover calls her revenge, and her husband doesn’t call her at all. What is your name? We never find out, but it doesn’t matter because she could be any married woman trying to have a fulfilling career and marriage. Why isn’t she enough? Why does that 20% matter? Why can’t he call her name? I love this story because it is lovely, and tragic and freeing.
