The Syndicate By Brick and Storm
I didn’t really know what to expect when I turned this book on to listen to it on Audible, and I have to tell you that I was pleasantly surprised. I found myself yelling at the radio in my car, cussing at characters and giving the three snaps up and three snaps down on what they better not be about to do. The book was delightfully entertaining. Yes, it is Urban fiction, and I don’t recommend a great deal of Urban fiction and it is not because I don’t read it, but it is because I have to love it just like any other book that I read. The Syndicate has substance, and it makes you want to know more about the characters and their stories. I found myself hoping for the next thing for each of them, whether it was something good or something bad, I was hoping for it! The Syndicate is a book to get into when you can’t find the right action movie on television or in your DVD collection, and you want to be surprised at every turn.
