I don’t know about you, but I am always in pursuit of happiness. I don’t really know what that means anymore. I have given up pursuing happiness and I am just happy. I am happy to be alive. I am happy to be a woman of color. I am happy to be a writer. I am just happy and no one can have my happiness. No! It’s mine and I’m keeping it. Protect your happiness like it is the fountain of youth because it is!
